Zoning Board of the City of Long Beach Zoning Board Meeting
The Zoning Board meeting addressed two variance applications. The first case involved an application for a new single-family residence, where discussions focused on building height, sideyard setbacks, and the preservation of on-street parking through the maintenance of existing curb cuts. The board reviewed design elements, including roof pitch and interior layout, and suggested that the applicant consult with their architect to explore design modifications that could better align with zoning requirements. The board ultimately kept the case open for voting pending further documentation. The second case initiated was an application for a second-story addition.
