The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry's 2025-2029 Strategic Plan is designed to reimagine corrections and enhance public safety. The plan aims to achieve specific five-year outcomes by June 2029, including improving day-to-day operations by reducing Correctional Officer vacancies to 15% or less, decreasing the 3-year recidivism rate by 10%, and reaching 100% compliance with all court orders and mandates.
