Town Council Management And Planning Session
The Council held a management and planning session to discuss the town's Recovery and Resilience Plan and the potential establishment of a Community Redevelopment Area (CRA). The presentation covered the phased implementation roadmap for the recovery plan, focusing on stabilizing, strengthening, and adapting infrastructure. The CRA discussion centered on using a defined geographic area to focus public investment, coordinate infrastructure improvements, and leverage growth in property tax revenue to fund redevelopment projects, while clarifying that such an area does not constitute a new tax, change zoning, or transfer property ownership.
