Meaford Council Public Planning Meeting
The council held a public meeting to receive input on a proposed zoning bylaw amendment. The application concerns a property on the 11th line and proposes rezoning to permit a home industry that exceeds standard size requirements, including an increased floor area for a workshop and larger outdoor storage area. During the meeting, the planning consultant presented details of the application, and members of the public raised concerns regarding potential environmental impacts, noise, traffic, and the lack of specific details about the proposed business operations. The council noted that no decision would be made during this meeting and outlined the next steps in the planning process, which include further staff review and a future council meeting to consider a recommendation.
