Board Of Legislators Proceedings

The Board of Legislators addressed a variety of administrative and operational items. Discussions included the recognition of a retiring IDA board member, a presentation on SPCA services and capital campaign goals, and the authorization of multiple contracts. These contracts covered diverse areas such as radio maintenance for county departments, participation in energy purchase programs, funding applications for a social connection grant, truancy and youth placement prevention programs, YMCA memberships for at-risk youth, domestic violence advocacy, and polygraph services for the Probation Department. Additionally, the Board authorized tourism promotion funding, a road transfer to the Town of Ashford, and amended contracts for court facility cleaning services. New legislation was introduced to establish a fee schedule for Onoville Marina activities, with a public hearing scheduled for the upcoming month. Finally, the Board approved contracts for 2026 Amish Trail brochure printing and new vendors for managed prescription drug programs.
